Binny Krishnakumar, her mother, is a well-known Carnatic singer best known for her Tamil song “Ra Ra Sarasaku Ra” in Superstar’s Chandramukhi. Shivangi has joined the cast of Sivakarthikeyan’s Don, which will be directed by Cibi Chakkravarthi. She also appeared in the film Kaasethan Kadavulada, starring Shiva and Priya Anand.
