T. Muruganantham will produce the film under the banner of RockFort Entertainment, while the first film in the franchise was funded by popular producer Bala’s Studios.

Karthik Raja, the son of veteran music composer Ilayiraja, is composing the film’s songs and background score. Along with Tamil, the film will be released in Telugu. Pishachi 2 is the title of the Telugu version of the film. It was also dubbed Raakshasi in Kannada and Nanu Ki Jannu in Hindi.

Andrea Jeremiah, an Indian actress and playback singer, plays the film’s main female lead. According to sources, the critically acclaimed actress will play some daring and erotic scenes in the film.

Megastar Vijay Sethupathi, affectionately known as Makkal Selvan by his fans, also makes an appearance in the film.
