Akhil Akkineni is an Telugu actor grew up in Hyderabad, India. Akhil made his film debut as a child artist in Sisindri (1994), which earned him a Filmfare Special Award. He is also the captain of the Telugu Warriors cricket team, which plays in the Celebrity Cricket League.
His first starring role as an adult was in the box office disaster Akhil (2015), which earned him the Filmfare Best Male Debut award. His first commercial triumph came with Most Eligible Bachelor (2021). Akhil is the son of the Indian actors Nagarjuna and Amala.
