Captain Miller is an upcoming film directed by Arun Matheswaran, best known for his work on Rocky. It will be a pan-Indian release, with the story set in the 1930s before independence, and will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
Under the banner of Sathya Jothi films, TG Thangarajan provided financial support for this film. According to reports, the film is based on the life of Captain Miller, aka Vallipuram Vasanthan, a Sri Lankan Tamil rebel and member of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. The cast and crew will be revealed soon. The Captain Miller film is scheduled to be released in theatres in 2023.
