Dulquer Salmaan was born on July 28, 1986, in Kochi, Kerala, India. He is a well-known Indian film actor, singer, and businessman who has appeared in films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Bollywood.
He was born to Mammootty and Sulfath Kutty, both famous actors. His sister’s name is Kutty Surumi. Maqbool Salmaan, an actor, is his cousin.
He married Amal Sufiya (architect) in 2011, and the couple has a daughter named Maryam Ameerah Salmaan.
Following his education, he worked in the United States for a while before moving to Dubai. However, his interest in acting led him to India, where he enrolled in the Barry John Acting School in Mumbai to learn the craft.
Later, in 2012, he was cast in Srinath Rajendran’s Malayalam action film Second Show. His success was lauded, and he received the Best Male Debut Award that year, among many others.
This was only the beginning of a fantastic career that would bring him millions of fans. He established himself in the Malayalam film industry with films such as Ustad Hotel and ABCD, among others.
He then started receiving offers from Tamil and other South Indian films. He made his Tamil debut in 2014 with Vaayai Moodi Pesavum. He was also named Tamil’s Best Debut Male. For his performance in the Malayalam film Charlie, he received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actor.
