“Iravin Nizhal,” directed by R. Parthiban, is billed as the world’s first non-linear single-shot film. The project, which features over 300 actors and 150 technicians, was choreographed into one continuous shot after 90 days of rehearsals. The film stars Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Robo Shankar, Priyanka Ruth, Brigida Saga, and Parthiban himself, with Arthur Wilson handling the cinematography. The music for the film is composed by A.R. Rahman, featuring six songs.
“Iravin Nizhal” was set to hit theatres on June 24, 2022. The grand audio launch event was held in Chennai in the first week of June. The film began streaming on Amazon Prime on November 1, 2022. In a recent interview, R. Parthiban mentioned that he is working on several different scripts and plans to make new announcements soon.
