SJ Suryah, known for his work as both a director and actor, was recently featured in the blockbuster film Maanaadu (2021), directed by Venkat Prabhu. His upcoming project, Kadamayai Sei, directed by Venkat Raghavan, showcases him in a new light alongside Yashika Anand.
In Kadamayai Sei, SJ Suryah portrays Ashok, an unemployed graduate who initially conceals his jobless status from his family. He later secures a position as a watchman in a gated community, where he strives to make a positive impact on the residents. However, an accident leads him to develop a condition known as stooper, characterized by a habitual forward lean of the head and shoulders. This condition sets the stage for a dramatic twist in the story, where Ashok seeks revenge against his adversaries.
The film’s trailer was released on May 6, with Simbu unveiling it. Currently, there are no updates regarding an OTT release or the possibility of a sequel.
