Cobra is a Tamil action thriller film written and directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, best known for his work on Imaikkaa Nodigal. Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, and Anand Raj star in the film. S. S. Lalit Kumar produced the film under the banner ‘7 Screen Studio.’ A. R. Rahman composes the music for the film, which is directed by Harish Kannan and edited by Bhuvan Srinivasan. Ajay Gnanamuthu, the film’s director, is well known for his previous hits Demonte Colony and Imaikkaa Nodigal.

The title was revealed on December 25, 2019. The film’s satellite rights have been sold to Kalaignar TV. Cobra will be released in theatres on August 11, 2022.
