Karthikeya 2, Nikhil Siddharth’s upcoming mystery thriller, is approaching the audience. On July 22nd, it will be released in theatres worldwide. Anupama Parameswaran plays the lead opposite Nikhil in the film. With its intriguing teaser, posters, trailer, and more, the film has already piqued the interest of the audience.

The interesting news is that the film’s post-trailer rights were purchased for a whopping sum by the popular OTT platform ZEE5. Based on the buzz surrounding the film, the platform will announce the film’s release date. However, we learned this morning that the Telugu Film Producers Committee has imposed a rule requiring movies to be streamed only after 50 days of their theatrical run. So we’ll have to see if it works or not.
