Puri Jagannadh directed the romantic sports action film Liger. The film stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali, Makarand Deshpande, Shah Emtiaj, Vishu Reddy, Srinu Boddupalli, Abdul Quadir Amin, and many others in supporting roles, including Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday. Sunil Kashyap, Vikram Montrose, Tanishk Bagchi, and Lijo George-DJ Chetas composed the music, while Vishnu Sarma shot the film and Junaid Siddiqui edited it. Under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, the film is produced by Karan Johar, Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, and Hiroo Yash Johar.

Mike Tyson, an American former professional boxer, makes an extended cameo appearance in this film.
