Thor: Love and Thunder, the highly anticipated sequel to 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, will finally hit theatres next month. With only a few weeks to go, we’ve been treated to a slew of teasers, trailers, and TV spots in recent weeks that have revealed Natalie Portman’s Mjolnir-wielding Jane Foster and new MCU villain Gorr, the God Butcher (Christian Bale).
Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in the United States on July 8, 2022. However, Marvel fans in the United Kingdom will be able to see the film a day earlier, on July 7. The dates are the result of a series of delays that pushed it back from its original November 5, 2021 date.
It comes as no surprise who is at the forefront of Thor 4. Yep. Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as Thor, the God of Thunder. Valkyrie, the newly installed ruler of New Asgard, joins him (Tessa Thompson). Unfortunately for Loki fans, it has been confirmed that Tom Hiddleston will not be returning.
