Namratha Gowda was born to a Hindu household on April 15, 1993 in Bangalore, Karnataka. She received her education at the Acharya NRV School of Architecture. She entered the Kannada television industry after graduating and appeared in the 2011 television show Krishna Rukmini. Later, she was cast in the lead character of Hima in the iconic Kannada television series Putta Gowri Maduve. She appeared as the lead heroine in Zed Kannada’s show Naagini 2 in 2020. She is a housemate on Bigg Boss Kannada 10 (BBK10) which is hosted by Kicha Sudeep.
