Shruti Haasan is an Indian actress, singer, and music composer who was born on January 28, 1986 (Age: 34 Years, as of 2020) in Chennai, India. She is mostly known for her work in Telugu, Bollywood, and Tamil films. At the age of six, Haasan debuted as a playback singer in the 1992 Tamil film Thevar Magan.

Shruti Haasan is Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur’s daughter. Akshara Hassan, her younger sister, is also an actress.

Shruti Haasan performed her first song “Potri Paadadi Ponne” in her father’s film Thevar Magan when she was only six years old (1992). She debuted as a singer in the film Chachi 420. She then performed the film Hey Ram’s theme song Rama Rama (2000). She has written the lyrics for the film Hisss, in addition to singing (2010).
