Vasanthabalan will write and direct Thalaimai Seyalagam, an anticipated 2024 Indian Tamil-language political thriller streaming television series for ZEE5. The show provides an immersive insight into the ruthless world of Tamil Nadu politics. Radhika Sarathkumar and R. Sarathkumar produced the show under the banner Radaan Mediaworks.
The series follows one woman’s rise to power, shining light on the critical role that women play in forming political views. The main protagonists in the series are Kishore, Sriya Reddy, Bharath, and Remya Nambeesan. The eight-episode series will air on ZEE5 on May 17, 2024.
